Granted we did visit on Labor Day weekend.... With that being said of course we know it's not the "norm".....
Ok so cost of the one hour trail ride was $100, maybe average here, but we are used to paying around $80 for 2 people. We got stuck with a party of 17! Seriously, that's way to Many people in a group! We asked to go later in the evening, manager told us nothing was available to later find out there was plenty of space for my husband and I.
We were very disappointed. But bright side the view was amazing, and being a horse lover, loved spending a hour with one.
The guides were extremely unprofessional, granted they were sweet no older then 21 in college.... The poor horses knew that they were not supposed to be further then a foot from the horse in front of them.
Effortless ride through the river...what a relaxing and memorable journey with great guides.
They offered a free carriage ride on Saturday between 10-4 for guest and they have riding lessons and trail rides.
Good guides and can't beat the scenery but it would be nice to have a little more freedom in the ride. Totally understand that you're riding with all different levels of experience but it would have made this ride better.
Great ride. We did the 1.5 hour river ride. And we are not experienced riders by any stretch. The horses had funny personalities and the guides were super friendly and chatty. Would highly recommend. Would come back if ever in the area again.
