Booked a room in Meadows bldg, at the Dillard House Inn. Burnt out lamp bulb. broken lamp, pillows smelled sweaty and room had an odor. Needed a thorough cleaning. The Inn is a beautiful building but needs some updating, remodeling. and a really good cleaning. What made the stay worth while were the stunning views of the mountains. BEAUTIFUL scenery and the nice clean smell of country air. A pleasant and friendly staff was a plus.

I stayed here recently with 45+ teachers for a 2 day conference. I was in awe of the mountain views and the beautiful scenery. Every meal; breakfast, lunch, and dinner was SUPERB and truly Southern hospitality at it's finest. The valley view two bed cottages were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of space. I truly enjoyed my visit here and I will definitely be back for some more fried chicken!

Fantastic brunch meal with amazing service, there is always staff and refill service for our drinks! Our family eats here 4-5 times a years and the family style dining is great. The Dillard House is a 100 year old tradition. Simply a must when we are in the mountains. Family run and operated business, they even pay for the fireworks for the town of Dillard on the 4th of July.

We stayed in a luxury king room. It was huge, like the size of a one bedroom apartment. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of pillows, sheets, and blankets. The location of the inn was beautiful. The fireflies at night were very cool. The inn was dated, but very clean. It had a full sized coffee pot. We ate breakfast at the Dillard House. Even though it costs $15 per person, it was delicious. The servers kept asking if we wanted more food; however, we had plenty.

Friendly staff at the registration desk is always a good place to start. The property consists of a handful of different buildings-the restaurant, some long one story buildings filled with single and double queen rooms, a petting zoo, and a fenced off area on the other side of a well kempt field where some horses are just kinda chillin out. Very quiet area, dark, typical of a small mountain town.
